Through the interviews of Revelli, Rigoni Stern and some friends of Carlo, accompanied by the images of the journey to Russia, the archive material from the Soviet Union and the music of Massimo Zamboni (a member of CCCP-Fedeli alla linea and CSI), the documentary tells the story of a son, who progressively comprehends his father's life: a path which goes from a complete lack of communication (in 1977, when the son was only twenty, the difference in the world vision of fathers and sons was too big) to a deep understanding of each other which manage to go over the different ideas and life styles.
