New York. The night between the 27th and 28th June, 1969, is not a night like all the others. At the Stonewall Inn, a bar in Greenwich Village, took place the first uprisings that will lead to the creation of the Gay Liberation Front in the United States. The new political procedure regarding the claiming of rights by homosexual takes the distances from the previous moviments of the 50's. A year after the uprisings, the 28th June 1970, thousands of people take part in the Christopher Street Liberation Day, a marching protest from Greenwich Village to Central Park, the first Gay Pride Parade in history.
