"I have attended so many courses here in prison... What's one more?" says one of the attendees at the audio-visual workshop that was held from February to June in the district prison of Bergamo. The question of the usefulness of training processes in prison is a burning one. Does it really help? And, if so, who does it really help? Lacking any kind of experience in this field, we go to have a look. The proposed educational path provided the viewing of some movies and a short introduction to the use of the camera. The aim was the realization of five short films and one documentary. This film collects the short movies and the documentary and tells about the unfold of the workshop. It is a rough film, structured but not plastered, and the tug of war between the institution and the prisoners is detectable as a natural background in more than one occasion. Everything was realized, perforce, in only one place: a twenty-five square meters room in the library area.
