The celebrations for the centenary of the coronation of the statue of Our Lady of Cornabusa mark the passing of time and seasons. The festival of fire announces the beginning of the autumn. During the night, the valley lights up and the rain accompanies the migration of the last animals that move from Pallio coast to the lower contradas. The hunters prepare the hunting calls and from the woods come the echoes of the first rifle shots. The women meet to prepare blue and white wreaths to decorate the houses and the streets of the village for the solemn event. The wooden statue of Our Lady will be carried around the streets of several villages before being placed on a throne set in the sacristy of Cepino church. Memories, graces received, intense or simple devotion that involve the whole population of the Imagna valley.
