Two fortyish men who haven't seen each other for two decades bump into each other one grey afternoon in the Place de la Bastille. Joseph has been just fired from the typography where he worked, while Alexandre, who dreamt to become a writer, ended up writing investigative reports as a pen pusher. On top of that, libido is decreasing, and they share the impression that nobody in interested in them. When Justine, a friendly and shapely young student enters the café where they are, the two of them hope in vain to seduce her.
