The government of a small state fears that the rich owner of almost all the capitals of the nation, a widow now, gets married again and brings all her money abroad. So the royal coffers send to Paris, where she lives, a young officer with the mission of winning her heart (and consequently her money). Adaptation of the operetta of the same name by Franz Lehar, the movie is pervaded by cruelty and malice.
