31st December 1999, outskirts of Madrid. Manuel and his wife, Paloma, who is in the final stages of pregnancy, are invited to dinner at her parents' house. Manuel asks to borrow his friend's truck, but Paloma's father, to underline the shortage of his son in law, insists to pick them up with his big car, but the car is being stolen. That's the beginning of a bizarre new year's eve of small incidents, strange encounters of men and women who get lost in the outskirts of Madrid.
