Since the second half of the 70's, the actors of Teatro Tascabile di Bergamo (TTB) go to India once a year to study in depth and practice various forms of theatrical performances. In Kerala, the traditional dance-drama is called Kathakali. The film tells about a particular moment, in which four actors, who represent four different "generations", tackle the Kathakali techniques on different levels.
