The film presents itself as a glimpse of the last days of the life of Jesus, when among the apostles there was already a hovering feeling of death and fatality. Among them a silent and dark Judas was hatching his scheme, convinced of the essential role which awaited him for the redemption of humankind. The denunciation to the Sanhedrin and the kiss given to Jesus are the final acts of a symbolic figure whose role in the divine plan is both terrible yet human. Paolo Benvenuti's debut film.
