Sky, plants. Some children play pretending to shoot the planes landing. A pilot calls home: no answer. Miguel is taking a bath: the day after tomorrow it is his 7th birthday. Miguel has never met his father. The pilot lives in the next-door apartment and he argues often with his wife.
Miguel receives some birthday presents, amongst which a kite. His father is released for good behaviour. Miguel is playing with the kite which ends up in a tree. His father, unknown to Miguel, helps him to get the kite back. When Miguel's mother comes back, they hug each other and Miguel understands that the man is his father.
